		<description>Find out how much they were going to ask for the one they&#039;re offering. Make sure it&#039;s at least worth what the other one was, then haggle (is it the same model even?). Also, your neighbors should intervene ;-)</description>

		<description>I would haggle for a better price, take a chance, what are you going to lose? Low-ball them for the price you think it should be and then increase it from there. The most they can say is no, but at least you&#039;ve tried.</description>

		<description>I would at least mention the long wait you had (especially with the delay in receiving the lid), and see what they say. Maybe casually mention scrapping the whole deal and see if that does anything. Good luck! I hate haggling. :)</description>

		<description>I always let my husband do the haggling, but I think it depends on the type of store.  If it&#039;s just a scratch and ding outlet for a chain of stores, than I&#039;d probably try to negotiate, because they are going to want your business back!  If it&#039;s some place like Appliance Smart where they just want it off their floor and aren&#039;t going to know if you ever come back... then I probably wouldn&#039;t try very hard...  unless you seriously think you don&#039;t want it at all then nothing to lose.  Good luck! I hate situations like this too!</description>
