Fiona Picklebottom (I still love that name) - I am the same way with sci-fi stuff. The only reason I picked this book up was because it sounded less hokey than most stuff I see. Sam - Nope-totally different. But I totally forgot about that movie. LOL. This book just came out in May of this year. Also, that movie was rediculous. This doesn't have monsters, really. I'm not usually into SciFi, but that one sounds interesting. Also, I keep saying that I'm not really into SciFi, but then I keep finding SciFi things I like, so perhaps I need to reevaluate. Seems she's got about 50 books on Barnes & Nobles' Top 100 list and everyone thinks she's great. I've got to check her out. Also? I need to move out from under this rock.
